Music Bio
Born in a very musical family, Lisa Carney began singing before she could talk. She participated in several contests like " Cegep En Spectacle " in 1989 at Rimouski college. Afterwards, she sang in various Rock and Metal bands and performed in Rimouski, Quebec and Montreal. In 1996, she took two sessions of singing lessons and received two diplomas from the " Arbre Musical ". During the next years, she explored different avenues allowing her to develop and refine
her style. In 2002, she met guitarist Pascal Ross while he was starting his band project, 13th Melody. She collaborated by adapting and translating his texts for the album Menacing Legacy. She also wrote the majority of the vocal melodies.
